Taffs Well FC Mourns the passing of the heart of Taffs Well FC, Mrs. Norma Samuel

It is with profound sadness that Taffs Well FC announces the passing of Mrs. Norma Samuel.

Norma had been the club's esteemed secretary for several decades. Her unwavering dedication and remarkable strength have left a mark not only on our club, but on the broader landscape of Welsh football.

Norma was the club's matriarch, breaking barriers in a male-dominated sport. Her commitment and passion for the game made her a driving force behind Taffs Well FC's success over the years. Her legacy extends far beyond the confines of our club and we know her passing will be mourned by the wider football family.

A woman of extraordinary character, Norma helped drive our club forward, where her determination and resilience set an inspiring example for everyone involved. She deeply cared about players and built strong connections across the footballing family over the years.

Our club is deeply connected by family. Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to her wonderful husband, Steve, her brother, Malcolm, and all her family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. We share in their grief and mourn the loss of a remarkable woman whose absence leaves our club with a heavy heart.

As we wake up today, Taffs Well FC is a sadder place for not having Norma in it. Her memory will live on in all that she brought to our football family.

In tribute to Mrs. Norma Samuel, the club as a minimum will observe a minute of silence at our next home match. Further details regarding memorial arrangements will be communicated in due course.

Thank you for everything, Norma. We hope you know how grateful we all are.

May she rest in peace.
